Fenix has introduced the E40R, a high-power flashlight capable of producing a temporary peak brightness of 5,000 lumens. The beam can reach up to 242 meters, designed primarily as a floodlight for wide illumination.
The intense turbo mode is intended for short bursts, so battery life in this setting is not specified. At a sustained 1,500 lumens, the flashlight can run for nearly 3 hours and 42 minutes. Additional brightness levels include 350, 150, and 30 lumens, with runtimes ranging from over 9 hours to nearly 90 hours.
The E40R uses four 6,500 K LEDs and includes features such as lockable light settings and an overall lock to prevent accidental activation. It is rated IP68 for water and dust resistance and includes a magnetic tail for convenience.
Rechargeable Battery and USB-C Port
The flashlight is powered by a replaceable 21700 rechargeable battery and supports recharging via a USB Type-C port. It weighs about 220 grams and measures 138 mm in length. The E40R has been announced by Fenix's German distributor with a price of 110 euros including VAT, though availability is not yet confirmed.
